HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT

Sustainable management of natural resources can greatly contribute to development, and should therefore be encouraged. Special attention in this area was therefore aimed at providing support for the planning and construction of a common regional water supply system and raising awareness of the population about environmental issues. A priority under the Cohesion Structural Fund is the regional water supply system. In addition, other areas that contribute to the improvement of the environment are important, namely promoting organic farming, assessing the effects of the radio transmitter on the health of the inhabitants of the municipality of Puconci and cooperating with the Goričko Nature Park in conservation of nature.
